Casa Floresta Facilitators

Chetan

Chetan is a devoted sound journey facilitator, plant medicine ceremony assistant, and skilled musician specializing in guitar and percussion. With a humble and gentle presence, he serves the ceremonial space with peace, humility, and a deep sense of care, helping participants feel safe and supported. Since its inception five years ago, Chetan has walked alongside the Forest Path family, integrating these sacred traditions into his life and practice.

From an early age, Chetan was drawn to the mysteries of life, frequently engaging in deep philosophical and metaphysical thoughts. Always wondering what else was out there, he sought answers beyond the surface of everyday experiences, exploring the nature of reality and existence. This innate curiosity set him on a transformative path that took him around the world, where he immersed himself in diverse cultures, lived in monasteries, and visited ashrams, deepening his understanding of spirituality and connection throughout India and South America.

As a teenager, Chetan discovered mind-altering substances, a turning point that propelled him toward deeper self-exploration. By the age of 21, he found himself in the Amazon, participating in a dieta and studying with elders in the Amazon. Immersed in the teachings of the jungle and its vast array of healing plants, he began to connect with the spiritual dimensions of nature, gaining insight into the profound relationship between plants and healing.

A pivotal encounter with the grandfather cactus in Costa Rica reawakened Chetan’s connection to the deeper essence of life, reminding him of the boundless peace and interconnectedness that pervades existence. This experience further deepened his commitment to spiritual growth and healing.

Chetan’s journey with sound began at Lake Atitlan, where he discovered the power of mantras and sacred chants. Under the guidance of Jaya and Hayley Saraswati, he opened his voice and immersed himself in the world of sound healing. Now a dedicated student of sound and ceremony, he regularly supports sacred chanting concerts, medicine ceremonies, and other sacred spaces, sharing his talents on the guitar and the mrdanga (an Indian drum). He also offers guitar and music lessons, sharing his passion for music with others.

Currently residing at Lake Atitlan with his partner and daughter, Chetan is deeply committed to the medicine path, with music as the main pillar of his journey. The guitar holds a significant place in his practice, where he draws profound inspiration from the Santo Daime, a syncretic musical trance tradition, as well as from a variety of other wisdom traditions, including Umbanda, Wixarika, Yawanawa, Shipibo and Andean practices.

Kadhi Moonflower

Kadhi Moonflower is a musician, singer, songwriter, and ceremonial space facilitator with 10 years of experience on the medicine path and 4 years in the Forest Path family. She supports many different healing ceremonies through her voice, music and presence.

Kadhi’s search for a more connected way of life began at an early age, leading her on extensive travels around the world living in various spiritual communities. Her journeys through South and Central America eventually brought her to Guatemala, where the vibrant musical culture of Lake Atitlán awakened in her a profound sense of remembrance, purpose and belonging. Through exploring devotional kirtan and medicine music circles, and learning the sacred hymns of the Santo Daime traditions, Kadhi discovered her calling as a medicine musician and songwriter while remaining a devoted student of the master plants and their teachings.

Through her journey with the medicine, Kadhi has evolved into a songwriter, creating hymns and sacred songs that embody the teachings of the natural world. Attuned to the voices of nature, she channels this wisdom into her music. Born out of both joy and grief, her songs bridge the spiritual and earthly realms, inviting healing and a remembrance of our connection to the Sacred.

Kadhi draws deep inspiration from the embodiment of firmeza—the quality of being grounded and steadfast in the medicine world. This sense of firmness is central to her work, as she believes in cultivating a strong, anchored presence in ceremonial spaces. Kadhi works closely with Rapéh, a sacred medicine she serves with reverence, helping others connect to their own sense of grounding and clarity. Her practice is rooted in anchoring strength and centeredness, creating a firm foundation for healing and transformation.

In addition to her musical work, Kadhi is a mother to her daughter, Oriah and supports the Forest Path ceremonies with her partner Chetan. Her service is to the music, the medicine, and the community that surrounds her.
