Meet Your Facilitators

Stefanie Mahina

Born in Switzerland, Stefanie is a medicine woman and artist who followed her soul’s calling 6 years ago to study yoga, shamanism and sound in Guatemala. Since then, she has been deeply devoted to her medicine path, which has led her to travel through the continent of America as well as Europe, working and studying with many elders and masters from a vast array of cultures and traditions.

Stefanie’s spirituality is primarily based in nature and the elements. She holds a deep reverence for ancestral traditions of the Earth and she finds her way of life being inspired by Yogic traditions, Native American, Wixarica, various Amazonian tribes; Shipibo, Yawanawa, Huni Kuin, Madiha, the Santo Daime and Umbanda traditions as well as the ways of the Andes.

To deepen her studies she has completed traditional diets with various lineages. She is also committed to the prayer of the Moon Dance as a carrier of the sacred obsidian pipe.

Stef supports and holds different types of circles and altars. She assists in the works of the “Forest Path” as well as facilitation of “Sound Ceremony” courses.

Through deeply communing and cleansing with nature, the master plants and ancient ways of being, Stefanie discovered and opened her voice and realized the healing power and beauty of this inherent tool. Therefore, music has quickly grown into one of her greatest medicines and soul callings, as she writes her own songs and grows an extensive collection of songs from various cultures around the world. It is her mission to act as a bridge and support the remembrance of the voices and spirits of humanity through sound, wisdom, somatic exercises, dance and ritual so that we may better live in union, joy, harmony and purpose.

Keenan Kinnear

Keenan Kinnear is a visionary and medicine woman who’s art and music interweave with great spirit, expressing the healing, transformation and mystery of praying with sacred plants in union with Mother Earth.

Growing up in her homeland Toronto, Canada, her path of awakening, spirituality and healing started already in her teenage years when she followed her calling to leave the country and study yoga. This quickly led her down a more shamanic path, guiding her to study with the master plants and with a Shipibo elder in the Amazon Rainforest. Through her plant diets and devotion to this path of reciprocity, love and harmony she formed a strong relationship with her intuitive channel and her voice as a gateway to the subtle realms and as a tool for healing and alchemy.

Over the past years, Keenan has been inspired by Earth-based wisdom and spirituality. She has continued to study with different indigenous tribes and ancient traditions from Peru, Brazil, Central- and North America - such as the traditions of the Wixarika, Q’ero, Mexica, Yawanawa, Shipibo and Umbanda - and has collected a wide range of sacred healing chants and medicine songs.

Keenan’s lifestyle consists of communion with nature. She lives with her partner in Guatemala where she supports and holds sacred circles and ceremonies, offering her voice. She supports the work of the “Forest Path” as well as works with yoga, sound therapy and the body. She dreams of a world where people are in harmony, with one another as well as the cycles and rhythms of the Earth, and she has found music to be the remedy.

As an embodiment of unconditional love and joy, she creates sacred spaces for people to feel held and supported in their vulnerability as they explore their inner landscapes, hearts and bodies.
